Face protection, also called facial protection, should be used when there is a risk of injury to the entire face, and the use of safety glasses alone is therefore not enough.
If the face shield does not fit properly, it does not provide the protection it is intended for. For every employee who uses facial protection, it must therefore be checked whether the protective equipment is properly fitted and suitable.
